From November 4th to 8th, our annual team-building trip arrived as scheduled.
The goal: to strengthen team cohesion, encourage communication and collaboration, and allow everyone to relax from busy work while experiencing the charm of nature and local culture.

Departure: Starting From Different Places, Meeting in CHAOSHAN AREA, GUANGDONG, CHINA

Teammates from Adena’s Shanghai, Hangzhou, Changzhou, and Yunhe offices traveled over 1,000 kilometers to meet in Chaoshan for a long-planned reunion.
We packed our everyday teamwork into trains and flights, and rediscovered one another in the southern sea breeze and ancient cultural rhythm.

26 people, 26 personalities — blended by the Chaoshan sea breeze into one shared frequency:
“Grateful for each other, Rise and shine, Honor and victory — 2025.”

Chaozhou Ancient City

The glazed tiles above Paifang Street glistened warmly under the sun, as if the eaves’ wind chimes were telling stories from the past.
On the weathered stone pavement, a Chaoshan grandmother carried freshly steamed chive dumplings in her bamboo basket — the rising steam curling gently around the ancient archway.

In the distance, boats drifted along Guangji Bridge like moving dotted lines, underlining the ancient city with a living, breathing stroke.

Food stalls filled every corner. We walked, paused, tasted, and laughed — discovering that the “taste of teamwork” is…
someone saving a place in line for you,
someone sharing their last bite,
someone remembering what you can’t eat.

Grateful for each other — in Chaozhou, every flavor became one shared taste:
Together, everything tastes better.

Nan'ao Island

At Qing’ao Bay, we stood on the Tropic of Cancer marker — the bronze line at latitude 23°26′ slicing the beach into two halves.

Team games unfolded on the sand. The whistle blew, and laughter burst like fireworks across the shore. Balloons popped, sand flew, and each “bang” melted another layer of distance between us.
Within minutes, everyone was breathless… yet lying side-by-side in the sand.

The sunset gilded the bronze latitude line, stretching 26 shadows long across the beach until they merged into one straight line.

23°26′ — the Tropic of Cancer — folding 26 hearts into one.

Swatow

Sea breezes brushed across the old arcades like vintage film.
A bite of crispy oyster cake, a line of Chao opera drifting from an alley — the city’s smoky warmth lit up the night.

And when the clock tower chimed in Xiaogongyuan Park, it gathered teammates from four different cities into one synchronized heartbeat.

Four days in Chaoshan — spent between ocean waves and cultural stories.

As we return to our work roles, we carry with us a renewed sense of cohesion, creativity, and energy.
Together, we will face every challenge ahead with stronger unity and passion.
